Island Life - Escaping it all in Croatia

In a fit of madness earlier this year, I decided it would be a great idea to book myself onto an open water swimming holiday, and then proceed to do minimal swimming over the next 5-6 months.
So deciding that worst comes to worst I'd just sit on the boat and chill, i packed my bags and headed off to the Croatian island of Krapanj with "Team Reader".
Despite arriving after midnight, we were told to be up bright and early for an 8 am swim test! Because that's how we all like to start these things right? Fortunately once we had been graded into our swim groups for the week (I was team yellow) everything just clicked into place, and the days went by in a haze of sailing, swimming, sun bathing and eating.

By the end of the trip I was cruising along and even the 3.5 km island circumnavigation at 7:30 am on the final morning left me grinning, if desperate for breakfast!
So to make the most of the last day, I headed off in the afternoon to the Krka National Park with the Reader boys. Definitely worth the faf of trying to get a taxi from the middle of nowhere!
