Nottingham Goose Fair

It was roughly about this time last year, when I started a basic photography course, so I could learn more about how to create pretty photographs. One thing I did back then was visit the Burton Statues, a travelling fair that arrives every October to brighten our town centre for a couple days. As I have at least partially moved to Nottingham, I thought I'd visit one of the highlights on the calendar, the Goose Fair. The fair itself dates back 700 years, though as there are significantly less geese and more fair rides I can safely assume things have probably changed a bit since its inception. So hyped up on candy floss and buoyed by the smell of mushy peas and mint sauce (goose fair delicacy!) my camera and I took a wander and tried to capture what I could of the fair.
