In between Christmas and New Year, I journeyed across to Holland to visit relatives and to relax a bit in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Somehow unlike almost every other Brit I know I seem to manage each visit to the city without feeling the need to spend time mooching around either the red light district or the numerous coffee/head shops.
Instead despite the near freezing weather I prefer to spend my time wandering the historic canals and back streets, which just get more photogenic every time I visit.
